“Children are at the centre of all we do”
We encourage everyone in our school community to live life well reflecting Christian attitudes and values and working in partnership with families as part of a wider, caring community.
The hallmarks of a Christian life lived well are shown in the fruits of the Spirit–
‘But the fruit of the Spirit is: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control. Against such things there is no law.’ Galatians 5:22 – 23
Walking to school
Children and families are encouraged to walk to school. A shelter is provided on the grounds for those waiting at the start and end of the day. Please make use of this.
School Transport
School transport collects those entitled to free home to school transport. This entitlement is shown through transport passes provided by NYC. Each child needs to show their pass for free travel. The school taxi travels from Yedingham to school and back. Please ask at the school office for the most up to date timetable and collection points.
Parking
On street parking is available on High Street. As children get older, we would ask all parents to encourage children to walk from and to the centre of the village for drop off and collection. School requests written permission for children to leave school independently in this way.
We ask all parents and visitors to school to be respectful to our neighbours with your parking. We politely request you do not drop off on the school zigzags for everyone's safety, or park at the very top of High Street (the road is very narrow).
